I feel your pain. I was set to go until Friday afternoon, after checking on the status of my wife’s uncle in person (who has been like a second father to me). Prayed about it, slept on it, and felt like I needed to stay home. He passed at 11 PM on Saturday. Visitation is tonight and the funeral is tomorrow. So I obviously made the right call. But that doesn’t mean I don’t wish I was in Seattle with everyone.

Just saw the shout-out…thanks! And so sorry we didnt’ see you this year. Maybe SQL Rally 2012 in Dallas…?
